This cuvée contains 40% Pinot Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, 30% Chardonnay. All wines from the best sites in the department of the Marne, from more than twenty top vineyards in Champagne. The overall composition of this cuvée has not changed much for almost fifty years.
Fresh and long tasting, the Brut Réserve may be drunk on all occasions. As might you be if you buy enough of these beautiful little bottles.

This is inspiring now, but give it a decade in the cellar to really be blown away. This is a monumental Champagne in what’s arguably the greatest vintage for French bubbles since 1996 (although a case could be made for the consideration of 2002, but how many angels can dance on the head of a pin anyway?)(And is it ever worth answering a rhetorical question?)(oops, never mind)

Bisson Glera Vino Frizzante (Prosecco) 2018Enoteca Bisson was born in 1978 when Pierluigi Lugano fell in love with the wines of the Ligurian coastline. He began as a trader in small lots of bulk wine, later became a wine merchant and finally a grower in his own right. He now splits his time between his busy wine shop in Chiavari, the wine cellar and his vineyards and is now considered one of Liguria’s most accomplished producers. This wine, however, comes from the opposite side of the country, from the Veneto, for Glera is the correct name for the grape that used to be called Prosecco; it is a lightly sparkling wine, bone-dry, bottled early to maintain its freshness. Because he eschewed using a cork in favor of a crown cap, the wine doesn’t qualify to be bottled as Prosecco and thus is labelled “Glera.”
