Description
Brian and Stephy Terrizzi are the winemaker-viticulturist couple behind the Broadside wines. He’s the winemaker, she’s the viticulturalist and they’re way into the Italian grape varieties they bottle under the Giornato label. A couple of years ago, one of their distributors asked them if they could do a reasonably-priced, high quality Cabernet from Paso Robles fruit, and Broadside is what they came up. The trickle of Paso Cab became an onrushing cashflow river and Broadside has become one of the best “national barands” in the market. Plus the Giornata wines are fantastic and the Terrizzis are also producing dried pasta at Etto Pastaficio in Paso Robles’ Tin City.

The 2017 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits attractive aromas of ripe blackberry and red cherry, framed by a touch of oak. It’s supple and open-knit
