Domaine des Corbillières Touraine Sauvignon Blanc 2018
Domaine des Corbillieres is located about halfway between Tours and Blois in the Loire Valley; founded in 1905, it was acquired in 1923 by Fabel Barbou, grandfather of the present owner and winemaker, Dominique Barbou. The Barbous started bottling their own wine in the 1950s, and the estate soon came to be regarded as a point of reference in the central Loire, especially noted for their elegant versions of Sauvignon Blanc. This version is rich and fruity, with zesty lemon-lime flavors, well-balanced, giving a lasting freshness to the palate.
