La Crema Monterey Country Chardonnay 2016

This light golden yellow Chardonnay from La Crema has a big nose of buttery pear, vanilla custard, apple and pineapple. On the palate it is creamy and balanced, with a medium body and crisp acidity. Flavors of green apple, pear, pineapple and vanilla with nicely integrated minerality. The finish is clean and lingers for a while. I would pair this Chard with a roasted chicken with lemon garlic cream sauce. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: On the nose, Meyer lemon, passion fruit, grilled pineapple and pie crust. On the palate, nectarine, papaya and crisp lemon-tangerine notes are complemented by a touch of spice and complex minerality.
